How Often to Wash Bedding, Towels and Clothes

How often should we wash bedding, towels and clothes to keep them clean. Looking at them or smelling them is not always correct way to judge, and washing too often can shorten its lifespan. Womanlight brings tips to decide when it’s time to put them to laundry.

1. Bedding:

Bed sheets should be washed at least every other week. Clean pillows and comforters 2 or 3 times a year, wash them when seasons change.

2. Bath Linens:

Wash bath towels after every 3 or 4 uses. To keep towels from getting musty smelling make sure to hang them up and dry them. Also, wash shower curtain liner to prevent it from getting stains. Bath mat may need to be washed weekly.

3. Clothing:

Jackets, dresses and jeans can be washed after wearing several times. But should wash pajamas and regular dress after few use.
