Tips for Healthier Life

Lot of us worry about weight, scale and plan for dieting. But one important thing is to love yourself and instead of attaining right weight, we should work on healthy life. Confused, but its true. Having thin body doesn’t mean that you are healthy and being overweight doesn’t always mean you are sick.

So, stop concentrating on weight instead start concentrating on healthy living and healthy life.

Womanlight brings few tips for healthy living:

1. Have fruit or vegetable with every meal:

Try to include some fruits or vegetable with every meal like adding strawberries, blue berries etc to oats for breakfast, adding broccoli or low fat vegges to salad and sandwich.

2. Walk:

Try to walk as much as possible, instead of elevators use stair case, get out for walk with colleagues. Take break after every 1 hour of continuous sitting. Wearing a pedometer might help in this and set a goal for number of steps per day to be more active.

3. Keep a food diary:

Keep track of what you eat this will avoid emotional eating which is one of the main reasons for over eating. Reduce the count of eating out as outside food contains lot of fats which is ideally not good for health.

4. Limit processed food:

In today’s world processed food is best option for easy and quick meal but always remember that processed foods contain salt, sugars, unhealthy fats and are deficient in fiber which again leads to unhealthy lifestyle. Don’t buy food which you can’t resist from eating like junk foods (ice cream, chips etc).

5. Stop drinking soda and juice:

Drinks and juices are source of unhealthy sugar which adds to weight gain and unhealthy living. They provide instant energy but are low in nutritional benefit. Instead of these juices and drinks, try water, low fat diary products, green tea.

6. Physical activity:

Take up your favorite physical hobby like gardening, tennis, biking etc to enjoy your hobby as well as building good health. Physical activity reduces stress and relieves mind and body.

No! I’ve been a vegan for two years and I have tons of energy. Here are some tips:1. Make sure you don’t eat too many carbs if you’re felineg hungry. Opt for vegetables or fruits or nuts or something more filling. Or else you’ll find yourself felineg hungry.2. Know what vegetables are really good for you in terms of vitamins. For example, kale has tons of calcium, so you don’t even need milk. You could also get soy milk with calcium. Things like that are super easy to find using google.3. Get your protein! I don’t know if you cook your own meals but if you do, using recipes with tofu is a good choice. If you don’t want to do that or don’t like the taste of tofu, get some nuts like almonds and snack on them (but not too much!).-Those are my biggest tips but send me a message if you have any other questions! Good luck =)

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough
to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance.

I must say you’ve done a awesome job with
this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Opera.
    Outstanding Blog!
